Daughter is shy
Sorry it has been a little bit since I have wrote. Things has been very busy here. We got busy with going to trunk a treats, Addison ( our daughter) got lots of candy but she was on the shy side. She was scooby doo for halloween. We had let her pick it out. Then we got busy decorating the christmas tree. We actually put our Christmas tree up on Halloween. It was not my idea to do it. It was daddy's idea as Addison kept asking for it haha. We have a few gifts up under the now and will have a few more put under it next week.
Thanksgiving was a good day for us but Addison is very shy when it comes to being around a lot of people and I mean alot of people. She will hide her face and wants to be held by daddy or I the whole time. We did get her to play with some cousins outside and I think it was because there was not a whole of people outside. I also think she does not like being around a loud people and some of my family members can get loud sometimes. I know she does not get to see them much but living about a hour and half to two hours away from family makes it hard to for us to visit them all the time. I know if she was in daycare would help some but we cannot afford that right now. I wish we could as I know what her to be around other little kids to make some friends.
Besides going to church and parks what is some other ways that we could do to help her to over come her shyness some and make some friends. Yes, she is two years old but she deserves to have some friends.
Any tips you have would be good.
Also any tips on how to get her to help pick up her toys that she is not playing with so things are not piling up in the living room (we are in the process of turning the office into a playroom for her so please do not suggest that as we are already doing that. )
