What do you do?
What do you do when you are at a park and some other parents kids starts being mean to your child?
I just had this experience today. I was at the park with my daughter this morning. There was this couple moms there that had four kids with them all together. Two of them was about the same age as my daughter (she will be three soon), one was a boy and the other a girl. The little boy kept trying to push me away from my daughter. I really did know what to do about that but just get my daughter to walk a different way. The little girl kept telling my daughter that she could not play. Every where my daughter would go to play this little girl would tell her that she could not play. I finally had it enough and told the little girl that my daughter (Addison) could play. Then this little girl said I am not going to play. I told her that is fine but Addison can play. The little girl said she was going to her mommy. By this time we was done across the park playing with a different slide so this little girls mother was no around. She was just sitting on a park bench and that was it.
After the little girl went back over to her mother they left. I can understand letting your child having a little freedom but dont let them be mean to others and go across the park (where there is other equipment in your line of sight from your child).
I really did not know what to do. I would not have said anything but I was just tired of my daughter being mistreated for no reason.
What would you have done?
