Addison's update

I just thought I would update on Addison. She is 3 years old now. Cannot believe that. The  time sure has been by fast. As it still seems like yesterday that we was getting the call that she was born.
Addison is doing very well. She sings her abcs already. She counts to 10 (sometimes up to 15 or 20.) She is a talker, well at least a talker to her daddy and I lol. To anyone else she is shy. She thinks that if she covers her eyes and ears then no one can see her. She loves to sing but does not love it when anyone else sings. She will tell her daddy that he cannot sing and tells me that I am not suppose to do that. She loves her baby dolls, dinosaurs, and cars. Well, she actually loves all kinds of toys but those are pretty much her favorite ones.

She had her doctor's appointment for her three year check up and it went okay. She weighs 37lbs and is 37 inches tall which I think they measured a little wrong or something as when we measure her she is 37 1/2 inches tall.  We will be changing doctors as this new doctor that took over her old doctor's practice ( her old doctor went to a different practice) is just not the doctor for us. First they could not figure out how to put our insurance in their system. Second the staff did not seem friendly at all. Like they was in a hurry (even though we sit and waited to be called to the exam room for a hour and then waited in the exam room for an hour. ) Then once the doctor came in she started making me feel like a shitty mom as our daughter is a very picky eater and she weighs 37lbs. She also would not give me time to say that our daughter does not drink soft drinks. (and she also does not eat a lot of carbs or even a lot of candy. Yes she eats chicken nuggets but she loves any kind of chicken). I just dont feel comfortable with someone who is going to say that my daughter is nearly over weight (especially when  that person is way over weight their selves. ) I know plenty of three years who are over 40lbs and their doctors do not say they are over weight.  Then she said that it felt like to her that Jelly Bean's liver is enlarged some. Well first of all she did not examine my daughter laying down on the table. She just stretched her legs out and leaned her up against me. So how can you really tell if something is enlarged when you are not examine someone laying flat. So the doctor wanted some blood work done and that was a pain not only for Addison but for me also. As it was rough watching them trying to get blood out of her arm and it not work as Addison kept tension up. So they had to stick her little finger and she did not like that. So please pray that blood work will come back good.

Do plan on switching doctors. So we do not have to deal with being made to feel like a shitty parent when we know we are not bad parents.

Other then all that things are good. Addison is getting ready for preschool. She starts preschool next month and I can not wait to see how well she does in preschool.
