It's summer time
Sorry that it has been a good while since I posted. Things has been very busy and I just have not had to time to really do any kind of writing.
We was staying sick this winter with sinus infections. Seems like I wrote about that some back in Nov. We was sick at Christmas, and when I say we, I mean all three of us was sick. That so was not fun. We went to the doctor to get medicine the day after Christmas. So we had a okay Christmas. I think we finally started feeling better after the New Years.
Addison had a wonderful first time at preschool. I cannot believe that school year is over with. She got out of school like May 22. Lets see where did I leave off the last time I wrote about preschool. The last time I wrote about her preschool days was close to her Thanksgiving dinner that she missed. She had a little Christmas party that I got to go to ( I want to say this was like on Dec 19th but not to sure would have to go back and look at pictures on facebook to find out for sure and that would take to long to go back thru all those photos lol. ) Her teacher had told me like a few days to like a week before the party that she did not know if Addison would do what they was practicing on doing at the party for us parents, which was singing a couple of songs, but she did. She stood up beside her school friends and sung the songs along with her school friends. I was so proud of her. I think that was like the last day for her before Christmas but not to sure. After Christmas break she went back to school where they had like a reviewing exam to see how far she was with everything (almost like a testing, well it was a testing lol ) she did very well on that test. She had her very first Valentine's party. She had lots of fun on that. I tried to make an Valentine's box for her but I failed back time on making it so I just went and bought one (maybe next year I will start working on one for her after Christmas lol.) She got to do enjoy a Dr. Seuss week and she had fun with that.
During her Spring Break we went to Atlanta to the aquarium there (it was that the best one that we have ever been to but it was fun) we also went to the zoo there and had fun. After Spring Break when she went back to school she had a change of teachers. I thought she would not do good with that change at all but she did very well.
She has been having problems with her ears so we are planning on carrying her to the ENT to get her ears checked. We are hoping that the problem can be fixed with tubes but you can really never know for sure. She has been keeping ear infections and fluid on her ears, so she may need tubes in her ears. Yes, I hope she doesnt but if she does it will be okay.
She enjoyed preschool and is looking forward to being back in school again in August. When she goes back to preschool she will be going 5 days a week instead of 3 days a week and I am sure that she will enjoy going all week. We wasnt going to do that but we are hoping that by her going 5 days a week it will help her in learning that she cannot be mean to her friends. Yes, she had gotten where she was being mean to her little school friends. There was a time there where we had took all her toys away from her. Her ipad time, and leappad time away from her because of how bad she had gotten. That had helped some. Yes, I know she is three (almost four now) years old but she still has to learn that being mean gets you no where but into trouble. Yes, she is an only child but that she does not excuse her being mean to her friends. So we are hoping that going to school 5 days a week and being around her school friends more will help with all that.
She is still not potty trained yet but I think we are getting close to there. We have good moments with the training and then some set backs. I think with having her daddy gone for work had set it back lots as that was potty training is something she can control and not having daddy home with her is something she could not control. He does not have to much longer until he is home a lot more so I think that will help out some. We are also spending half the summer with him in New Orleans (where he is at for the Army Reverse work that he is doing.) We have been putting panties on her while we have been at the apartment he is living in and so far it has been about like we expect with potty training. She will get there when she is ready to get there. Yes we are leaving when she potties in the potty up to her and when she is truly ready for it. Yes, we hope it is soon as we are tired of pull ups but it has to be when she is ready for it and not when we are ready for her to. But we have been putting panties on her some and she loves wearing them. When she has them on she will hold her pee until we either put a pull up on her or until she cannot hold it any longer. And that causes my anxiety to go up as I worry that it is hurting her to do that.
But besides all that we are doing good. We hope you all are doing good. I will try not let it be so long when I post again.
