it has been awhile

 It has been awhile since I have made a post but things has been pretty busy the last several months. Things are going pretty good. I tell you what this mommy is tired. Addison sure has kept us busy with all the sporting activities she has been doing. After cheerleading/football season was over in Oct. (she is a cheerleader for her school youth association.) Dont know if i wrote about how her cheer team won their cheer off in Oct. She did so well at that even with fall when they first went out on the field. It didnt stop them from winning and she kept a smile on her face afterwards and kept going. 

Back to after when cheerleading was over she started basketball. She really loved it. I think that was the first sport we got her to practice at home with. She would never practice her cheerleading at home. We could never get her to, no matter how much we tried she just wouldnt do it.  Her team probably won about 3 or 4 games. I dont remember how many they lost but it was more then 4 haha. She did enjoy basketball and says she wants to play again when basketball season starts up. 

Back in Jan they started softball sigh ups. she went back and forth on it but decided she wanted to give it a try.  And i have to say she loves it more then any other sports. At least that is how it seems. Her team has won 4 games and lost 2 games so far. They still have like about 14 more games to go until they are done for the season ( i am guess 14 as the end of season tournament has been decided on how many games they will be playing yet. ) But she is really enjoying her self. She has made a few scores for her team in a couple of games. She has been getting nervous the last couple of games before she gets up to bat and she doesnt do to good on that. We tell her that she can do it and that things will be fine. We try not to put too much pressure on her. but i think she puts pressure on herself to exceed in softball. 

She is doing good in school. Her math grade has came up a whole lot. Her english grade has came down a little but not way too bad. I think the spelling words is getting harder for her but she is doing good. She came home from school yesterday that she had some news that her daddy wasnt going to like. I said what you have a boyfriend, she said yes that she does. She asked a little boy to be her boyfriend yesterday and he said yes he would be because she has a really good personality. I find that so sweet. He also told her that he would protect her and if anyone picks on her just let him know that he will take care of it. That is the cutest. Do i think she is too young for a boyfriend , yeah i do. but i think this age can you really call it dating, as pretty much they only get to see each other at school and on the bus. She has asked us if she could invite him over one day. I told her that is something that her daddy and i would really have to talk about. She also said that she did tell him that they was not going to be kissing at all. (she doesnt like kissing or the kissing sounds. she says that it is gross. hopefully she will have that feeling for a long time. )  

That is pretty much it for now. I will try my hardest not to let it go several months go by before i write again.

 Sorry that it has been like 2 years since I have made a post.  I think I left off with a update of Addison fixing her first year of preschool. She did a half of a year of preschool after that (2019/2020) but Dec 2019 we had to pull her out of preschool because of not being able to afford it much as we had to get a new car. yeah starting like maybe the summer of 2019 we started having car problems after car problems. We was head down to New Orleans back in the summer of 2019 our car at the time started messing up on us. First it just needed the freon for the air in the car, then like maybe few weeks later the coolant started to stay low. We get back home with it and spend like I think about $400 to $500 one on getting it fixed. It was doing good for awhile and then our other car started having problems at that time we was like okay we just going to trade it off for a truck (we had been thinking about doing that anyways but we was trying to wait a little bit longer lol.) Surprised at how long it took my daughter to learn to ride a tricycle

I am surprised at how long it took my daughter to learn to ride her tricycle that she got for Christmas. I think she learnt to go backwards with not to long after getting it. But the going forward she had it learnt like two to three weeks after Christmas. And here it is Feb and she has it down packed. Well, at least in the house she does. She still doesnt want to paddle it out side yet. but I know she will get the hang of it soon. Plus we havent been able to spend to much time outside as it has either been too cold or wet from rain or snow one. I will be so glad when it warms up and stops raining for a little bit so that way she can go outside and enjoy playing out there.

It has been a while hasnt it

 I know it has been a good while since I have posted on this blog. Well on any blog lol. Things are going good. We took the time to grieve (well we are still grieving and always will be.) Some days are better then other days. Some days are on the bad side. Addison has had more bad days with her grief her lately. I know she is going through alot and it does make her miss her baby sister (Olivia Rose). but we are getting through it as a family. We always make sure that she knows that we will always be here for her anytime she needs us. She can cry and miss her sister anytime she needs or wants to and we will be here for the hugs when she wants them.  We do miss Olivia Rose daily. There is not a day that doesnt go by that we do not think about her. She is our little angel in heaven. We have decided that since every year (since 2021) we get a ornament to hang on the tree for Olivia Rose, that we get a christmas tree that will be Olivia Rose's memorial christmas tree.
