It has been awhile but things has been busy

 I know it has been awhile since the last time I wrote. I know it has been a little over a year since I wrote. I have been so bad with keeping up with this blog. There is some days I just dont feel like getting on the computer at all and some days I just get on it to do a little business and that is it. 

Okay now lets get started with that update for you. I am going to try to keep this short. 

The last time I wrote Addison was in 3rd grade. She finished that up and did very well that year.  She had some struggles with math but she buckled down with it and passed 3rd grade math with a B. So super proud of her for that.  

After her birthday party last year we decided to just start doing birthday trips with her instead of a party. The reason why we decided this as we just got tired of spends $$$ money ( and yes we was spending 100s of dollars on her parties. and that was not counting what gifts we got her. We would spend nearly $200 on a spot to have her party at, as we just dont have the room at home to do them at home. We would probably spend about $200 on food also. and for decorations maybe $100 or less. it would just depend on what the theme of the party would be ) for anyone to barely show up. Last year I think she had like two friends that was invited to show up and like three family members. Mike and I is just so tired of seeing her hurt (especially by family) there would be times she would ask why her cousins dont want to spend time with her. what are we supposed to tell her about something like that. As we do not know why some of her cousins do not want to spend time with her. I wished I knew but it is what it is and we just decided that we was so tired of seeing her hurt. ( do not know if i ever wrote about the party we had for and no one but one person showed up. that was like her 6th birthday party. and no family members showed up for that. there was a aunt and grandmother who mixed up the time and they was very late so we just meet up with them for dinner but other then that no one showed up for party. we had made plans to not have anymore parties then but she talked us into have some more) but after last year nope just done with it. We did tell her that she can one for her 13th birthday party. 

Our summer last year was pretty much spent at the water park and we had lots of fun. That is until one day this lady wanted to be rude. but that is all i am going to say about that. 

In August Addison started 4th grade and she did awesome. She ended the school year in May with all As and Bs so proud of her. She did have one Cs on her report card before she got out for Christmas so she didnt get a Award for all As and Bs for the whole school year but she did get this award that the school does for kids that shows the school spirit and etc (really do not want to name the award or go in more details on that as I do not want people to know what school she goes to. )

She played basketball and still loves it , even though her team did not do all that great but she had fun and learnt some things. She also played softball and i think she enjoyed it. It was something new as she was on the 10U age group for her team. It was different compared to the 8U that she was on last year. This year she did not have the coach pitching to her. She did get hit with the ball some while batting but she just ran to the base and gave a thumbs up that she was okay. 

Now lets talk about how our summer started. Well it started with Addison in a cast. She had a field day at school and it was like 40 minutes until school let out that day and she falls coming around a picnic  table and lands right on her right elbow. I carried her to urgent care that day (probably 30 minutes or so from the time she got out of school and got home)  This was all on thursday and before we left urgent care she had an appointment with a ortho the next day. We got up on friday went to the ortho they wanted a ct scan done on it to make sure that she would need to have surgery on it. We went from friday to monday stressing and worrying about whether or not if she was going to need surgery but thank God she did not need surgery. She had a cast on for like 3 weeks total. The ortho said that he did not want to have a sucky summer by having a cast on. She goes back on july 1st to make sure that it is still healing like it should be and also to find out if she will get to play volleyball. As volleyball practice starts on thursday (july 3rd) i have seen where some says that after a broken elbow they are not allowed to play ball for 4 months afterwards so we are kind of wondering if she will get to play volleyball. if she doesnt that is okay she will be able to play basketball as when it starts will be over four months lol. I also can say she is one tough cookie. she did not cry not one time with her broken elbow. she didnt cry when it happened and etc. i think the only time she did cry was when she was told that her softball season was ending earlier then it was supposed. but she still wanted to go to the last few games to cheer her team on. So proud of her for that. 

We are now getting ready for her birthday trip. We are going to go to a indoor waterpark. That should be fun. Also getting some of the things she will need for 5th grade. Like seriously how is she a 5th grade already. She starts back to school in August so we got to get the school clothes and some supplies dont have to get many supplies as her school is going to get some the supplies for the whole school (she is in a school building that only has 4th and 5th grade so why too many kids to get for lol but so glad that they are getting the supplies. the only thing we have to get is headphones, backpack (which we get the pottery barn backpacks for her every two years and she got a new one when she started 4th grade so do not have to get that until 6th grade lol ) a lunch box. she carries her lunch. there is some days she will eat the school lunch but she mostly carries hers. and I think that is pretty much it. Addison and I went to do and got her some shirts that was on sale at walmarts for her to have for school. like seriously they had shirts for a $1 to $3 and you just cant pass that up or at least i cannot lol. 

mike and i are doing good. just doing the adult things. haha. i started a little small crafting business. so far it isnt doing too good. nov will be a year that i have had it going and if it doesnt pick up soon i may have to stop doing it and i really do not want to do that. but i just cant see putting money into something when i am barely making money from it.
